What is Quick Guide Academy?
The authors of "The Interpreter's Quick Guide to Self-Employment" also founded a company called Quick Guide Tax, which offers tax filing services for freelancers and interpreters. Quick Guide Academy is an extension of Quick Guide Tax offering on-demand tax and financial education for those eager to learn more about self-employment as well as earn CEUs.
Should I complete my webinar on a desktop view or the mobile app?
Our webinars typically include interactive spreadsheets. For the best experience, please use a computer or browser view on your mobile device.
How are webinars taught?
Our webinars are broken up into categories. Each category may include videos, activities and quizzes. Click through each one in order from top to bottom for the best experience.
Can I ask the presenter questions during webinars?
The on-demand webinars are all self-paced and pre-recorded, so there isn't an opportunity to ask questions during.
What language are the webinars taught in?
All video lessons are available in American Sign Language with a spoken English voice-over.
How long do I have to complete a webinar?
As long as you need! They are all self-paced.
How long will I have access to the webinar after I complete it?
You will lose access to the webinar at the end of the month you complete it. For example, if you complete a webinar in May, your access to that webinar will be removed the first week of June.
How do I get CEUs?
In order to receive CEUs, you will need to complete the course in it's entirety and fill out the two CEU forms available in each webinar. You will receive a certificate of attendance at the beginning of the following month. For example, if you complete a webinar in May, you will receive your CEU certificate the first week of June.
Who is your CEU sponsor?

How are CEUs reported to RID?
CEUs are reported to RID on a monthly basis. You will receive a certificate of completion at the end of each webinar for your own records as well.
